Elena Baldwin is the heart behind Sam and Sophie's world. A British-Filipino author based in the UK, Elena created the Mango and Marmalade Stories series to give mixed-heritage children a mirror, and all children a window into a rich, joyful, multicultural family life. Her books have been celebrated by educators, librarians and families across the UK for their warmth, authenticity and beautiful illustrations.
